About Colleen Belmont, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Colleen Belmont is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and founder of Solara Wellness Center, a functional and integrative medicine practice serving patients throughout Colorado and Arizona via telehealth.

Education and Professional Background
Colleen earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Colorado Mesa University in 2023. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Colleen spent several years caring for patients as a registered nurse in home health and case management, where she developed a deep appreciation for the complexity of chronic illness and the importance of individualized care.

Clinical Focus and Advanced Training
Colleen’s clinical expertise includes hormone optimization, thyroid disorders, weight management, gut health, chronic inflammatory response syndrome (CIRS), metabolic health, and complex chronic conditions. She has pursued extensive advanced training in functional and integrative medicine, including the Shoemaker Protocol for CIRS, enabling her to help patients uncover and address the root causes of persistent symptoms.

Personal Health Journey and Passion for Functional Medicine
Colleen’s passion for functional medicine stems from both professional experience and her own health journey. After facing unexplained symptoms despite being told her testing was “normal,” Colleen began exploring a more comprehensive approach to health that looked beyond conventional lab ranges and symptom management. That experience gave her firsthand insight into the frustration many patients feel when they know something is wrong but struggle to find answers.

Commitment to Patient-Centered Care
Today, Colleen works with individuals who have often been told that everything looks normal yet continue to experience fatigue, hormone imbalances, digestive issues, weight gain, brain fog, chronic inflammation, and other ongoing health concerns. She believes that effective healthcare requires time, listening, and a thorough evaluation of the factors influencing health, including nutrition, hormones, gut function, environmental exposures, and lifestyle.

Partnering for Personalized Wellness
Through Solara Wellness Center, Colleen partners with patients to develop personalized, evidence-informed treatment plans that help restore health, optimize vitality, and empower individuals to take an active role in their wellness journey.

Life Beyond Practice
Outside of practice, Colleen enjoys spending time with her husband, eight children, and grandchildren. She loves traveling, lifelong learning, and continually expanding her knowledge to better serve her patients.
